The group offers expertise in creative services, including writing, editing, design, and photography and manages University branding development, stewardship, guidance, and art.

The staff consists of project managers, editors/writers, graphic designers, photographers, and production experts, ready to help ensure that Pitt's marketing messages and materials are accurate, engaging, visually appealing, and effective.

Typically, the group provides expertise and customized work on viewbooks and brochures, annual reports, student/faculty recruitment materials, newsletters and magazines, advertising, and institutional event materials that help to meet Pitt's strategic goals. For other projects, the group offers design, production, and resource options.

We also partner with others in University Communications to connect the Pitt community with resources for websites, social media campaigns, and video projects—all strategically focused.
